Neoen appoints Norbert Thouvenot Chief Operating Officer

Neoen (code ISIN: FR0011675362, ticker: NEOEN), one of the world's most dynamic independent producers of exclusively renewable energy, announces the appointment of Norbert Thouvenot as the Group's Chief Operating Officer. He will report to Chairman and CEO Xavier Barbaro and will be a member of the executive committee. He succeeds Paul-François Croisille who, after 11 years in the role, is leaving to devote his time to non-profit organisations. Paul-François Croisille will step down on 30 June.

Norbert Thouvenot joined Neoen in 2015 to oversee the construction and operations of Neoen's plants in Australia, America and Africa, reporting to Paul-François Croisille. Norbert Thouvenot also headed the company Competence Center.

In his new role, Norbert Thouvenot will oversee the group's worldwide operations, also taking responsibility for Procurement and the Group's Health & Safety policy.

Business development in France, previously overseen by Paul-François Croisille, will remain under the management of Guillaume Decaen, now reporting directly to Xavier Barbaro.

Xavier Barbaro, Neoen's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer said: "I would like to congratulate Norbert, and I am delighted that he will be joining the executive committee. His experience with major companies in diverse sectors coupled with his profound understanding of our international operations made him an obvious candidate to succeed Paul-François whom I thank for his precious contribution to Neoen's development. Paul-François joined Neoen early on and played a crucial role in our growth. In just over ten years, Neoen has become a key player in 15 countries and Paul-François has played a major part in that development. I wish him the greatest success in the new stage of his life."
