PRESS RELEASE

Strong revenue growth in the second quarter: + 63.6% In France and Europe, business levels much higher than in H1 2020 and 2019

Mortagne-sur-Sèvre, France, 22 July 2021, Cogelec (ISIN: FR0013335742/ticker: ALLEC), the French leader and major European player in access control systems for building complexes, is today releasing its revenue for the first half of 2021.

Revenue
In €m
2021 2020 Change 2019
Q1 13.2 9.8 + 35.0% 9.4
Q2 12.9 7.9 + 63.6% 9.6
Total H1 26.1 17.7 + 47.8% 19.0

Continuing on from the trend in the first quarter, consolidated second-quarter revenue totalled €12.9m vs. €7.9m for the same period last year, up +63.6%. Over the first half, revenue stood at €26.1m compared with €17.7m in 2020 (+ 47.8%) and €19m in 2019 (+ 37.4%).

Beyond the base effect linked to the COVID-19 pandemic and the slowdown in decisionmaking in 2020, this business level demonstrates the quality of the Group's current sales momentum in France and Europe. This momentum is driven by both the initial effects of investments made in Europe and the continued enthusiasm of all our customers for the Intratone solution, the Group's GSM solution.

While the company continued to strengthen its client base, subscriptions increased by + 19.3% in the second quarter to €3.4m vs. €2.8m the previous year and + 19.6% over the first half of the year (€6.6m vs. €5.5m the previous year and €4.8m in the first half of 2019).

Strong growth momentum in France and Europe

In France, second quarter revenue rose significantly to €11.4m from €7.0m the previous year, up + 62.7%. Sales totalled €23m for the first half of the year vs. €15.7m for the first half of 2020, or an increase of + 46.8%.

In Europe, the sales momentum recorded in all countries where the Group operates brought second-quarter revenue to €1.5m vs. €0.9m the previous year, or an increase of + 71.0%, from the previous year. Sales totalled €3.1 over the first half of the year vs. €2.0m the

previous year, or an increase of + 55.8%, while certain countries in Europe, in particular Germany and the United Kingdom, were more significantly impacted by the various lockdowns at start of the year.

Very favourable business outlook for the full year

The holding of the majority of general meetings in the second half of the year, the quality of Intratone referencing, and the sales initiatives taken by all teams in France and Europe will continue to drive the Group's growth.
