Net Tangible Assets [‘NTA’] per share for December 2014
13 JAN 2014 Singapore
8I Holdings (ASX:8IH) advises that the NTA per share as of 31 December 2014 is S$0.08965 (A$0.08273 based on A$1:S$1.0836*) pre-tax and S$0.08896 (A$0.08210) post-tax.
8IH completed its highly successful IPO and was listed on 17 December 2014, therefore the majority of the funds raised during IPO have not yet been deployed and are held in cash.
The Company will follow its Value Investing methodology as outlined in the prospectus and as such will deploy the cash when appropriate opportunities emerge in the equities, property development and education markets.
It should be noted that the NTA includes 8 Education and other operating units of the Company and excludes any intangible assets associated with the operating units, such as goodwill.
All figures in this release are unaudited and they are subject to external review by the Company’s auditor.
