Off Market Acquisition of Shares in 8VI Holdings Limited
15 June 2021, Singapore
8I Holdings Ltd (ASX: 8IH ) (“ 8IH ” or the “ Company ”) is pleased to advise that the Company has acquired additional 494,000 shares in 8VI Holdings Limited (ASX: 8VI) (“8VI”), representing 1.2% equity interest in 8VI, through off market transactions. The Company has increased its net investment in 8VI by 466,815 shares since its last announcement on the increase in equity interest in 8VI released on 29 March 2019.
8VI is listed on the ASX and a subsidiary of the Company principally engaged in the financial education and fintech business. The Company has an equity interest of 78.8% in 8VI as at the date of this announcement.
