LNA Santé provides details following the radio broadcast "RMC is committed to you" of June 21, 2022

In 2021, LNA Santé announced that it had made the difficult decision to consider closing a health establishment specializing in childhood obesity, located in Sanary, in the Var, the AJO Les Oiseaux (LNA Santé press release of March 31, 2021), the establishment being at an impasse.

After three postponements of the closure accepted by the company (initially the closure was to take place at the end of summer 2021), the closure will take place definitively, in a few days, on July 7.

If for more than a year, LNA Santé has been preparing for the closure, making sure to support the employees as best as possible, in particular through internal or external reclassification solutions and that a care solution has been found for young patients in another establishment in the region, this decision remains very difficult for some employees of AJO Les Oiseaux. They led an important fight against this closure.

An RMC program, "RMC is committed to you", on June 21, echoed this. The journalist chose to approach this fight, by evoking a "health insurance fraud", unrelated to the reasons for the closure. LNA Santé would like to point out that this is a mistake.

This subject refers to an ARS check, which occurred in 2019, which had effectively identified a problem of overpayment. As the group explained to the ARS (the regional health authority) and the CPAM (the primary health insurance fund), and as it said it again on RMC, this is an error recognized and assumed by LNA Santé.

LNA Santé and the CPAM have agreed a reimbursement of the sums overpaid.

The Group deplores the use of this information and its inclusion without any verification.

Revenue for the 2nd quarter of 2022 will be published on July 26, 2022 at market close.
