Sunrise delivers outstanding performance with the largest 5G and 5G SA mobile network
- This year’s connect test confirms that the Sunrise mobile network delivers the very highest quality and achieves top scores.
- The Sunrise mobile network is the only network to have been awarded the top rating of «outstanding» for the tenth time in a row. Sunrise offers the largest 5G network in Switzerland (without DSS) and the only 5G Standalone (SA) network throughout Switzerland.
- Sunrise is joint winner in the «Voice» category, delivering top-quality mobile telephony, and joint winner when it comes to the reliability of mobile data connections. Sunrise also provides the best mobile network for interactive video calls and e-gaming.
- The high-performing Sunrise mobile network, which scored 975 out of a total of 1,000 points, is one of the top five networks in the international connect mobile network tests.

Sunrise performed at the highest level and managed to improve its score slightly compared to last year, with an overall total of 975 points (+2) on the demanding 1,000-point scale that connect sets for the «Data», «Voice» and «Crowd» categories.
In the « Data » category, the differences between providers are «…only in the order of a few percentage points», according to connect. Nevertheless, Sunrise had a slight edge on its rivals in the data drive tests in large cities, while the walk tests showed the same extremely high level of performance for all networks in the data discipline.
An assessment of all the drive and walk tests also reveals that the Sunrise mobile network performs best overall for interactive video calls and e-gaming. And when it comes to the reliability of mobile Internet connections, Sunrise is again the joint top performer.
In the « Voice » category, which relates to mobile telephony, all the providers line up together in first place: There is «…an absolute tie at the highest level», concludes connect.
Even though the measured scores in the connect mobile network test are very close together, the Sunrise mobile network offers unique benefits to customers, including:

- the largest 5G network in Switzerland, as the connect measurements in the 5G-specific frequency bands (without Dynamic Spectrum Sharing, DSS) show. Sunrise customers benefit from a proportionally higher amount of fast 5G connections than customers get from rival providers.
- the only Switzerland-wide 5G Standalone network . This means Sunrise customers benefit from improved 5G network coverage, a longer battery life on their devices, more stable, simultaneous voice and data connections via 5G, and more secure connections.
