20-2025 5th Planet Games and Skybound Games Announce Frostpunk 2 Physical Editions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S Now Available at Retail
COPENHAGEN – November 18, 2025 – 5th Planet Games A/S (OAX: 5PG) announced that Frostpunk 2 physical editions for both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S are available at select global retailers from Skybound Games starting today. The latest installment in 11 bit studios’ city-builder and society survival franchise has been reimagined for consoles, complete with a tailored UI and all-new radial menus. Two premium physical editions (Icebreaker Edition available now; Whiteout Edition releases December 9, 2025) include collectible tributes worthy of New London’s archives.
Physical editions of the game are distributed across the Nordic region by 5th Planet Games under its partnership agreements with Nordisk Interactive A/S and across Eastern Europe in partnership with Glomerk SA.
The Frostpunk 2: Icebreaker Edition (for PS5 or Xbox, $49.99 / £44.99 / €49.99) includes the full game on disc, a stunningly crafted pop-up diorama of New London, the chilling digital novella Warm Flesh, and a behind-the-scenes digital artbook chronicling the creation of this unforgiving world.
The Frostpunk 2: Whiteout Edition (for PS5 or Xbox, $99.99 / £94.99 / €99.99) includes all Icebreaker contents housed within a multi-layered shadow box featuring integrated LED lighting and iconic key art. It also includes a Deluxe Edition upgrade, granting access to the three new and upcoming DLCs, alongside physical keepsakes: a deluxe metal-and-enamel keychain, two premium New London art postcards, Frostpunk-themed stickers, and one of two possible embroidered faction patches - either the disciplined Technocrats or the fervent Icebloods.
Diving even deeper into the post-apocalyptic abyss, Frostpunk 2 builds upon the foundations that made its predecessor a triumph.
