Eiffage strengthens its presence in the Netherlands with the acquisition of Van den Pol Elektrotechniek B.V.

Eiffage, through the Dutch subsidiary¹ of Eiffage Énergie Systèmes in the Netherlands has just acquired 97% of Van den Pol Elektrotechniek B.V., complementing its expertise in the industrial and office buildings and commercial markets.

This transaction is subject to approval by the European competition authorities and is expected to be completed in early 2024.

Founded in 1935, Van den Pol Elektrotechniek B.V. specialises in security installations, IT networks and industrial automation. In 2022, it had €75 million of revenue and 250 employees.

This acquisition both consolidates the expertise in electricity and ICT of Eiffage Énergie Systèmes in the Netherlands, critical for meeting the growing demand induced by the energy transition, and also enables the strengthening of its ability to offer digital solutions to support its customers' industrial processes.

As the fifth acquisition of the year in the Netherlands, following on from Gain Automation, VSK Kastenbouw, Safety Service and Klimatro Beheer BV, this new transaction positions Eiffage in this country as a key player of the energy sector.
