Appointment of Deputy Fund Manager

The Board of The Henderson Smaller Companies Investment Trust plc is pleased to announce that Cassie Herlihy has been appointed Deputy Fund Manager of the Company, effective 30 November 2025. She will work closely alongside lead Fund Manager, Indriatti van Hien, who has managed the Company's portfolio since 2016.

Cassie joins Janus Henderson's UK Small Cap Equities team from Gresham House, where she co-managed a UK smaller companies fund, establishing a strong investment track record and consistently delivering results ahead of market peers. Prior to that, she held investment banking roles at both Citi and Investec. Cassie holds an MSc in the Psychology of Economic Life from the London School of Economics and a BA in Geography from the University of Cambridge.
