NCC Construction has been commissioned to build six cisterns for the storage of gasoline and ethanol at Skarvikshamnen in Gothenburg. The client is Vopak Logistics Nordic AB and the order is valued at approximately SEK 180 million.
Each of the six cisterns has a volume of 10,000 cubic meters and the contract also includes an upgrade of four existing cisterns.
Vopak Logistics Nordic AB conducts operations including storage, handling and distribution of oils, chemicals and other liquid products. Vopak also engages in the cleaning of tank trucks and containers.
Work on the contract will commence around the beginning of December 2007 and will continue until the end of 2008. I total, about 70 people will be engaged in the project, of whom approximately 20 will be NCC employees and the remainder will be subcontractors.
Order registration will occur during the fourth quarter of 2007.
