Ortivus AB strenghtens board and management

The Board of Directors of Ortivus AB has appointed board member Jon Risfelt as Deputy Chairman of the Board. The board has further decided to call in Peter Edwall as observer. At the coming annual general shareholders meeting, the election committee intends to propose Jon Risfelt as Chairman of the Board, and Peter Edwall as a Board Member of Ortivus AB

Peter Edwall will, through his extensive experience from the financial and capital markets, bring considerable competence to the ongoing restructuring and focusing of the Company. Peter Edwall is also a major shareholder in Ortivus AB.

After having completed cost reductions, current CEO Walter K. Young, will now return to his ordinary assignment as CEO for Ortivus successful operations in North America. The board has per today appointed Bengt Arne Sjöqvist as acting CEO for Ortivus AB, and has initiated the recruiting of a new CEO for the Company. Mr Sjöqvist has been engaged in the Company since its initiation, and has long commercial and technical experience from the various business areas of Ortivus.

The purpose of these changes is to strengthen board and management in relation to the ongoing comprehensive restructuring and strategy changes. Chairman Akbar Seddigh and Jon Risfelt will together with the other board members work closely with the CEO and other management of the Ortivus entities.
