Approval of Securitas' acquisition of G4S' operations in Germany

The German Competition Authority has approved Securitas' acquisition of G4S' operations in Germany. Other contractual demands have also been fulfilled.

As disclosed on May 15, 2008, Securitas will acquire G4S' guarding and monitoring operations in Germany, with total external sales of MSEK 975 (MEUR 105) in 2007. The enterprise value is estimated to MSEK 317 (MEUR 34).

Securitas in Germany will after this acquisition have total sales of MSEK 5,000 (MEUR 537) with about 19,000 employees and a market share in guarding of approximately 14 percent.

The acquisition will be consolidated in Securitas AB as of June 30, 2008.
