SinterCast broadens market presence in India

• Mr Arvind Deodhar joins SinterCast as Business Consultant-India
• Over 35 years of experience in the Indian foundry and automotive industries

SinterCast is pleased to announce that Mr Arvind Deodhar, President of CANCAST Consultants Inc, has joined SinterCast in the capacity of Business Consultant-India. With effect from 1 July 2008, Mr Deodhar has assumed responsibility for SinterCast's commercial and technical activities in the Indian market.

Mr Deodhar brings more than 35 years of experience in the Indian foundry and automotive industries. His career has included 23 years at the TATA Motors foundry in Pune and nine years as Senior Vice President and CEO of the Kirloskar Ferrous Industries Ltd foundry in Hospet. Mr Deodhar joins SinterCast following his recent retirement from the position of Executive Director and CEO of Ennore Foundries Ltd (currently, Hinduja Foundries Ltd), the main supplier of cylinder block and head castings to the Ashok-Leyland commercial vehicle group.
