Loomis acquires the cash handling services provider EM Armored Car Service in the USA

Loomis AB, Securitas' cash handling services division, has acquired the assets of the cash handling services provider EM Armored Car Service Inc in Georgia, USA. The purchase price is approximately MSEK 11.9 (MUSD 1.85).

EM Armored Car Service is a cash handling service provider operating in southern Georgia, with 50 employees and annual sales of approximately MSEK 17 (MUSD 2.6). The acquisition will enable meaningful synergies in the south of Georgia market where Loomis has sizable operations and allow introduction of integrated technology enabled solutions there.

The acquisition will be consolidated in Loomis AB as of September 1, 2008.
