A contract between Mekonomen and Svenska Bil has been made

Mekonomen and Svenska Bil have signed a final contract on collaboration after signing the letter of intent on 7th May 2009. The collaboration involves at least six of Svenska Bil´s facilities and they will be converted into Mekonomen Bilverkstad/workshop with belonging Mekonomenbutik/shop. These facilities will be a part of the new concepts Mekonomen Mega and Mekonomen Medium with a very high level of availability and service.

The collaboration is structured in a joint company, Mekonomen BilLivet AB. Svenska Bil will be the majority owner of the new company.

The goal is to have the business of the new company up and running before the end of 2009.
