B&B TOOLS is currently coordinating the Product Companies encompassed by the B&B TOOLS Products operating area with the Group's IT, supply chain and central purchasing functions to form a new operating area known as B&B TOOLS Solutions ("Solutions").
The formation of Solutions will enable B&B TOOLS to take a coordinated approach to the Group's offering of products and services and to gradually implement required solutions related to the Group's logistics vision and IT strategy. Overall, this will enable the Group to establish more favourable conditions for coordination and streamlining, and to strengthen its development and purchasing potential.
The new operating area will be recognised separately as of the Interim Report for the first quarter of the current operating year (1 April – 30 June 2009), which will be published on 19 August 2009. In Appendix 1, the comparative data per quarter for the B&B TOOLS Group has been restated from 1 April 2008 until 31 March 2009 taking into consideration the changes stated above.
