Securitas acquires security services company in the Czech Republic

Securitas has acquired the security services company Dora Security in the Czech Republic. Enterprise value is estimated to MSEK 92 (MCZK 218).

Dora Security has annual sales of approximately MSEK 156 (MCZK 370) and 1,400 employees. The company has a strong presence in Northern and Eastern Bohemia. Its main operation is in guarding, but the company has also operations in monitoring and mobile services.

Securitas is today the market leader in security services in the Czech Republic. With this acquisition, Securitas will strengthen its position in the customer segments industry, office building and government contracts.

The acquisition is consolidated in Securitas AB as of December 1, 2009.
