ELEKTA NAMES NEW HEAD OF ASIA PACIFIC ORGANIZATION

Stockholm, Sweden, March 26, 2010

Ian Alexander has been named Executive Vice President of Elekta's Asia Pacific Region.

Ian Alexander has been a member of Elekta's Executive Committee since 2008 and is currently COO of the company. Prior to joining Elekta, he has held several senior regional management positions, running the European Region at Bayer Diagnostics and the Asia Pacific Region while at Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics.

Ian Alexander will assume the position effective May 1, 2010. He is replacing Laurent Leksell who has been acting in the position since December of 2008.
