ÅF wins an energy contract in Finland

ÅF has won an engineering consulting contract for a new reserve power plant in Finland. The value of the contract for ÅF is 1.6 million euro.

The Finnish power system operator Fingrid will build a new 2 x 120 MW gas turbine power plant to Forssa, Finland. The plant will be used as a part of Fingrid's fast disturbance reserve required to maintain the stability of the national power system in severe disturbance situations.

ÅF's role in the project is to be the clients consult for engineering, procurement and construction management services.
