Re: Reference to Publications regarding the Export Permit for Natural Gas to Egypt

Further to the report published by the partnership on August 7, 2025 (reference number: 2025-01-058580) regarding the amendment to the export agreement to Egypt signed on August 7, 2025, between the Leviathan Project right holders and Blue Ocean Energy (hereinafter: the Amendment), and to the immediate report published by the partnership on October 30, 2025 (reference number: 2025-01-082110) regarding the extension of the date for the fulllment of the precedent conditions for the Amendment's effectiveness until November 30, 2025, and following publications in the media over the past weekend regarding procedures for obtaining the export permit to Egypt in relation to the Amendment (hereinafter: the Export Permit), the partnership wishes to clarify that during discussions between the Ministry of Energy and the Leviathan partners held last week regarding the Export Permit, the Ministry of Energy presented to the Leviathan partners a number of conditions on which agreement has not yet been reached.

The Leviathan partners intend to continue discussions with representatives of the Ministry of Energy in order to reach an agreed text of the Export Permit.
