Veidekke: Builds filleting plant at Oslo Airport

Oslo Airport City has entered into an agreement with Veidekke Logistikkbygg to

build an environmentally certified fish filleting facility to be leased to

Abrahams Salmon Processing. The assignment is a turnkey contract worth just over

NOK 100 million excl. VAT.

- This is the second project in a short time that we have developed together

with Oslo Airport City, and it marks a new and important commitment to

Gardermoen as Norway's most central hub for processing, distribution and export

of seafood. We appreciate the trust and look forward to the journey ahead, says

General Manager Roar Kristiansen of Veidekke Logistikkbygg.

The new facility, totaling just over 4,600 m2, is tailored for Abrahams Salmon

Processing's filleting of salmon for partners and for their own smoking and

further processing operations in Germany. The building will be a future-oriented

and modern filleting facility with a high technical standard and automation, and

it will be environmentally certified according to BREEAM-NOR level Good.

With their business, we get a solid actor that strengthens our seafood and

logistics cluster. Over the years, we have built up specialist expertise in

seafood, and we look forward to realizing the new facility in collaboration with

Work has already begun and planned completion is in the third quarter of 2026.

The contract is part of Veidekke's order reserve for the third quarter of 2025.
