Securitas acquires security services company in Argentina

Securitas has acquired the security services company Consultora Videco in Argentina. Enterprise value is estimated to MSEK 262 (MARS 166).

Videco, with annual sales of approximately MSEK 263 (MARS 167) and approximately 2,240 employees, is operating in the state of Buenos Aires. The company is mainly operating in guarding services, in many different customer segments.

Securitas is market leader in security services in Argentina. With this acquisition, Securitas further strengthen its position in the area of Buenos Aires.

The acquisition is consolidated in Securitas AB as of April 1, 2011.
