The Reinecke + Pohl Sun Energy AG will not exercise the option, agreed upon
in December 2006, to take over the Spanish developer of photovoltaic
projects (cf. ad hoc release as of December 8, 2006). This is the decision
of the managing board after the presentation of the due diligence report.
Instead, the managing board decided to focus on selected projects together
with the Spanish company. These projects, which are currently being
negotiated, are expected to make a positive contribution to the company´s
development. In addition, the Reinecke + Pohl Sun Energy AG plans to
intensify the collaboration with local project developers via its existing
Spanish subsidiary. Based on these decisions, the managing board is
convinced to successfully realize the company´s growth strategy in the
Spanish market through optimized risks and improved flexibility.
