Fitch Ratings reaffirms Banco BPI's long term rating at 'A-' and upgrades its short term rating to 'F1'

Banco BPI, S.A. informs that the rating agency Fitch Ratings has reaffirmed Banco BPI's longterm rating ('A-'), improving the outlook to Positive, and has upgraded Banco BPI's shortterm rating from 'F2' to 'F1', following a similar action on the ratings of its shareholder CaixaBank, announced on the 7th October. The ratings on Banco BPI's deposits and senior debt were also reaffirmed (long-term at 'A'; short-term at 'F1').
