Securitas enters the security services market in Costa Rica

Securitas has acquired the security services company CSS Internacional in Costa Rica. Enterprise value is estimated to MSEK 56 (MCRC 4,125).

CSS Internacional is one of the three largest security services companies in Costa Rica. CSS Internacional has annual sales of approximately MSEK 95 (MCRC 7,000) and 1,000 employees. The company has national coverage in guarding services.

The security services industry in Costa Rica is diversified. There are about 600 security services companies in the country, with approximately 30,000 employees.

The acquisition is consolidated in Securitas as of December 1, 2011.
