Gigante Salmon: Operational update Q3

Bodø, 03 October 2025

By the end of the third quarter, Gigante Salmon had accumulated a standing biomass of a total 1,728 tonnes. Generation Autumn 2024 accounts for 1,510 tonnes of the total biomass, with an average weight of 2,000 grams.

Generation Autumn 2025, with smolt release in September 2025, makes out the remaining biomass, 218 tonnes, with an average weight of 150 grams. In total, the company plans to release in excess of 2.2 million smolt during autumn 2025.
