Distribution of the shares in the subsidiary Angler Gaming plc

On May 11, 2012, the Annual General Meeting of Betsson AB resolved to distribute all shares in the subsidiary Angler Gaming plc ("Angler"). For each share in Betsson AB (irrespective of class) the holder will receive one share in Angler. Through this distribution the distributable funds of Betsson AB will decrease by approximately SEK 28 million.

The record day for distribution of shares in Angler will be July 4, , 2012. The last day of trading the Betsson share, including the right to the distribution of the Angler shares, will be June 29, 2012. The distribution is in accordance with what is referred to as the Lex ASEA rules, with the result that no immediate taxation will arise to shareholders in Sweden. Instead, the tax basis of the Betsson shares that confer entitlement to participate in the distribution will be allocated between these shares and the Angler shares received. Additional information will be available at www.betssonab.com during the autumn.

The shares of Angler will be listed at Aktietorget with the ticker "ANGL". The first day of trading is expected to be Friday, July 6, 2012.

In August, shareholders with holdings of less than 200 shares will be offered the choice, at no charge for brokerage, either to increase its holding to 200 shares or sell all shares.
