New Head of external communications at Sandvik Group

Pär Altan, presently at SCA, has been appointed Head of external communications at Sandvik AB. He will take up the position during September 2012 and report to Jan Lissåker, Executive Vice President Group Communications.

Pär is 57 years old and holds the position as Vice President Media Relations at the Stockholm head office of the hygiene and paper company SCA since more than six years. Prior to this he was information manager for Ericsson and he also has more than 20 years experience from the media, for example Dagens Industri.

"Pär will, with his competence and broad experience contribute to further strengthen Sandviks' external communication, not the least in media contacts" says Jan Lissåker, Executive Vice President Group Communications at Sandvik.
