Press release
December 18, 2012 No.37/12
The transaction will be implemented as a sale of a company with an underlying property value of SEK 580 million. The buyer will take possession of the property on April 5.
The property is fully let and the first tenants have moved in. The tenants include the analysis and technology consultancy company WSP, the Swedish Prison and Probation Service, the operator and system integration company TDC and search consultants Findwise. The ground floor will house a 7-Eleven convenience store, as well as a restaurant and conference facility operated by Sodexo.
"A prime location, high work environment and sustainability standards and, in particular, energy efficiency are key factors when companies are looking for modern office premises. The successful letting of this property is proof of our excellence in these areas. NCC already has advanced plans to develop an additional office property adjacent to the current site," says Joachim Hallengren, President of the NCC Property Development business area.
The property has a prime location in terms of transport links and is located near the New Ullevi Arena in walking distance from Gothenburg Central Station. Ullevigatan 17-19 is a GreenBuilding property and has received environmental certification at the Very Good level according to the international environmental classification system BREEAM. The premises are part of the "Future Office by NCC" concept, a Nordic model designed to create attractive and sustainable workplaces for customers.
The sale will be recognized in profit in the NCC Property Development business area.
