Circle S.p.A. ("CIRCLE" or the "Company") - an Innovative SME listed on the Euronext Growth Milan market, heading the Group specialized in the process analysis and the development of solutions for the digitalisation of the port and intermodal logistics sectors, as well as in the international consultancy on Green Deal and energy transition topics – announces the launch of a new and important project for the digitalisation of inland intermodal terminals, with an initial licence worth approximately €300,000.
The contract involves the implementation of the MILOS® Terminal Operating System (TOS) at a major inland terminal in Southern Europe, with the aim of optimising the operational and digital management of all activities supporting land intermodality. The project represents the first step in a broader program, based on a framework agreement that aims to modernise a selected group of terminals of high strategic importance for the national/Mediterranean supply chain.
The MILOS® TOS system – a central component of the Circle Group technology platform – will enable integrated control of yard activities, load unit handling, resource management and process automation, thanks to advanced features such as operational planning and integrated flow management, real-time tracking of intermodal units, optimisation of human resources and vehicles, interoperability with third-party systems (including railway companies, logistics operators and gate automation) and integrated digital document management.
The system will be fully interoperable with the ICT infrastructure already in place at the terminal and designed to interact with other functional components, according to a modular and scalable architecture. In this context, collaboration with technology partners such as Aitek (Sesamo Gate, gate automation in the field) and eXyond (GOS, gate automation), for the construction of a digital ecosystem capable of responding dynamically to the needs of inland terminals.

In line with the Connect 4 Agile Growth business plan, Circle Group is strengthening its position as a technology enabler in digital transformation projects in the rail and intermodal sector, confirming its role as a strategic partner for innovation in land logistics.
