Berlin/Luxembourg, 16 September 2025 – Adler Group S.A. (“Adler Group”) today announced the sale of the development project “The Wilhelm” in Berlin to the Hilpert Group. The transaction was completed on 16 September 2025.
“We are pleased to have completed the sale of ‘The Wilhelm’, which, with its prime location in the heart of Berlin, was one of the most attractive projects in our portfolio,” says Dr. Karl Reinitzhuber, CEO of Adler Group. “ With this transaction, we take another decisive step towards fully focussing our activities on the management and value creation of our rental portfolio in the attractive Berlin market.”
With this acquisition, the Hilpert Group is expanding its project portfolio with an urban development project in a prime central Berlin location, close to the Brandenburg Gate and Pariser Platz. “The Wilhelm” is one of the most attractive residential developments in the capital.
The Hilpert Group, a family-run company focusing on rental housing construction in Berlin, is consistently pursuing its strategy of creating high-quality living spaces in central locations in the capital with this acquisition. After several delays in the past, the project is now to be continued rapidly and completed in 2028.
The transaction was supported by the real estate agency Knight Frank Berlin and the law firm GSK Stockmann.
