Egill Örn Sigurjónsson appointed new CEO of Solid Clouds hf.
Egill Örn Sigurjónsson has been appointed CEO of Solid Clouds hf., developer of the video game Starborne Frontiers. He succeeds Stefán Gunnarsson, who has held the position in recent years.
Egill holds an MBA degree from the University of Cambridge and a BSc degree in Software Engineering from the University of Iceland. He has worked in the gaming industry both in Iceland and abroad, including at the British game company Jagex, publisher of RuneScape, one of the world’s largest multiplayer online games. Since 2020, he has served as a producer at Solid Clouds hf., leading the company’s game production.
