Inge Boets

Career

Inge Boets is an experienced independent non-executive director in various sectors within an international context. She has extensive experience in a wide range of governance models and has held various roles, including chair of numerous boards of directors and various committees.

Some professional career highlights:

• Independent director and chairwoman of the audit and risk committee of the Euronext-listed Ontex Group.
• Independent chairwoman of the board of directors of QRF City retail and member of the audit committee and remuneration committee (until the AGM in May 2005).
• Independent chairwoman of the board of directors of Econopolis Wealth Management and director of Econoholding NV (chairman from 2019 to 2024).
• Independent director and chairman of the audit committee at ECS Logistics Group, a private group active in logistics and supply chains.
• Owner/manager of La Scoperta, an importer of Italian wine and food products.
• Independent director and chairwoman of the audit and compliance committee of Euroclear SA, Euroclear Holding SA and Euroclear Investments, as well as member of the risk committee and the appointment and governance committee (2011-2024).
• Independent director and chairwoman of the audit committee of Vanbreda Risk & Benefits.
• Independent chairwoman of the board of directors of Triginta.
• Ernst & Young and its predecessors (1984 March 2011) from junior auditor to partner to 'Global Client Service Partner European Commission' and various mandates within the management body.

Education

Inge Boets obtained a master's degree in Economics from the University of Antwerp (UFSIA) and was certified as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 1989, followed by additional certification for the insurance sector in 1992. As part of her continuing education, she completed the Strategic Leadership programme at Babcock College (Harvard) in 1996 and the Strategic Leadership for Women programme at IMD in 2007.
