The Board of The City of London Investment Trust plc announces that:

A first interim dividend of 5.40p per ordinary share of 25p, in respect of the year ending 30 June 2026 will be paid on 28 November 2025 to holders registered at the close of business on 24 October 2025. The Company's shares will trade ex-dividend on 23 October 2025.
