Resignation of Supervisor

China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co., Ltd. (the "Company" or "CPIC") has received the resignation of Mr. ZHU Yonghong ("Mr. ZHU"), the chairman of the board of supervisor and shareholder representative supervisor of the Company. Mr. ZHU has, after careful consideration, decided to resign from his positions as the chairman of the board of supervisors and shareholder representative supervisor of the Company due to changes in his work arrangements. The resignation of Mr. ZHU Yonghong took effect from 27 August 2025.

Mr.ZHU has confirmed that he has no disagreement with the board of supervisors of the Company and that there is no other matter in relation to his resignation that needs to be brought to the attention of the shareholders and creditors of the Company. Mr. ZHU also would like to take this opportunity to extend his appreciation to the board of directors, board of supervisors, and senior management of the Company for their collaboration and support throughout his tenure.

Pursuant to the Company Law of the People's Republic of China and other relevant laws and regulations, and the requirements of the articles of association of the Company, the resignation of Mr. ZHU Yonghong will not cause the number of members of the board of supervisors of the Company to fall below the quorum, nor affect the normal operation of the board of supervisors of the Company.

During his tenure of office, Mr. ZHU adhered to serving the nation strategies and the real economy through financial services. He has fulfilled his duties with dedication and diligence, leading the board of supervisors of the Company in effectively carrying out its oversight responsibilities, refining the supervisory framework, and contributing to the Company's high-quality and sustainable development. Mr. ZHU has achieved notable success in enhancing corporate governance, strengthening financial and internal control oversight, and safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of stakeholders. The Company and its board of supervisors hereby express their sincere gratitude to Mr. ZHU for his outstanding contributions to the Company.
