The Board of JPMorgan US Smaller Companies Investment Trust plc (the 'Company') is pleased to announce its intention to appoint Ms Cindy Rampersaud as an independent Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 1st November 2025.

Ms Rampersaud is a senior leader with over 25 years of executive and 15 years of board experience across a range of sectors. She is currently a Non-Executive Director at Sage Homes, Deputy Chair and Audit & Risk Committee Chair of the UK Health Security Agency and a Non-Executive Director and member of the council at Which? Consumer Association.

Her previous roles included her role as the Senior Independent Director and Audit & Risk Chair of Hipgnosis Song Fund. She also worked at Pearson plc where she led the Business and Technology Education Council (BTEC) and their apprenticeships business.

There is no further information to be disclosed in respect of paragraphs 9.6.13 (2) - (6) of the Listing Rules for Ms Cindy Rampersaud.
