Cancellation of share premium account

The Board of Baillie Gifford Shin Nippon plc is pleased to announce that the final hearing in the Court process to reduce the Company's share premium account was held on 6 August 2025 and an order was pronounced by the Court (the Order) confirming the cancellation.

The Order was registered at Companies House on 22 August, together with a statement of capital approved by the Court. This follows the approval of the cancellation of the Company's share premium account by special resolution at the annual general meeting of the Company held on 20 May 2025.
