Veidekke: Large project for Posten Bring near Bergen

Posten Bring Norge has awarded Veidekke the contract to build the shell of their

new environmentally certified logistics center in Lyseparken, south of

Bergen. The turnkey contract is worth close to NOK 280 million excluding VAT.

external works for what will become Posten Bring's new main terminal for parcels

and freight in Western Norway. In recent years, Veidekke has built several

logistics centers for Posten Bring in other parts of the country, and we are

very grateful to have earned their trust this time in our own region," says Thor

The logistics center will cover a total of 22,000 square meters, with 156

loading bays along the façade and a two-story office section of 2,200 square

meters included. The parcel handling capacity will be tripled compared to the

current terminals at Minde and Jekteviken. Climate and environmental

considerations were key criteria in the contractor selection process, and the

building will be environmentally certified according to the BREEAM-NOR standard

at the "Very Good" level.

Construction work will begin immediately with completion planned in March 2027.

The contract is included in Veidekke's order book for Q3 2025.
