Result of Audit Tender

Oxford Nanopore Technologies (LSE: ONT) ("Oxford Nanopore" or the "Group")   the company behind a new generation of molecular sensing technology based on nanopores, today announces that, following the conclusion of a formal and competitive tender process for the role of Group statutory auditor, the Board intends to re-appoint Deloitte LLP ("Deloitte") as external auditor to take effect from, and including, the financial year ending 31 December 2026. This will coincide with the timing of the mandatory lead audit partner rotation.

The Group stated its intention to complete the tender for external audit services in its 2024 Annual Report and Accounts and a formal competitive tender process has been undertaken, in accordance with the Financial Reporting Council Minimum Standard, overseen by the Audit and Risk Committee.

Further details of the audit tender process and evaluation criteria will be included in the Group's 2025 Annual Report & Accounts. The appointment will be subject to shareholder approval at Oxford Nanopore's 2026 Annual General Meeting.
