Alfa Laval wins SEK 60 million brewery order in India

Alfa Laval – a world leader in heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid handling – has won an order from a leading multinational brewery group, to supply a process solution for one of its plants in India. The order is booked in the Food Technology & Life Science segment, has a value of approximately SEK 60 million and delivery is scheduled for 2016.

The order is for a complete process line, including separators, heat exchangers, mixers and fluid handling equipment. The process line will, among other things, handle yeast propagation, fermentation, maturation and filtration. Once installed, this will be the first brewery in India to use Alfa Laval's unique mixing technology to reduce the fermentation processing time.
