# Correction: REC SILICON - LAUNCH OF MANDATORY OFFER BY ANCHOR AS TO ACQUIRE ALL REMAINING SHARES IN REC SILICON ASA – APPROVAL OF OFFER DOCUMENT

Correction: In the original release issued on 31 July 2025 it was stated that the offer document for the Mandatory Offer was approved on 31 August 2025. The correct date is 31 July 2025, which is corrected below. All other details remain the same.

Reference is made to the stock exchange announcement made by REC Silicon ASA (the "Company") on 14 July 2025 announcing i) completion of the voluntary offer to acquire all issued and outstanding shares (the "Shares") in the Company by Anchor AS (the "Offeror") and ii) that the Offeror would launch an unconditional mandatory offer (the "Mandatory Offer").

The offer document for the Mandatory Offer (the "**Offer Document**") has been approved by the Norwegian Financial Supervisory Authority in its capacity as take-over supervisory authority today, on 31 July 2025.

The offer price in the Mandatory Offer is NOK 2.20 in cash per Share. The acceptance period for the Offer will commence at 09:00 (CEST) tomorrow, 1 August 2025, and will expire at 16:30 (CEST) on 29 August 2025, subject to extensions as set out in the Offer Document (the "**Acceptance Period**"). The terms and conditions of the Offer, including procedures for how to accept the Offer, are set out in the Offer Document.

The Offer is only capable of being accepted pursuant to the Offer Document, and will not be made in any jurisdiction in which the making of the Offer would not be in compliance with the laws of such jurisdiction.
