Statement in relation to a potential acquisition

Wilmington plc, (LSE: WIL, 'Wilmington', 'the Group') the provider of data, information, education and training in the global Governance, Risk and Compliance ('GRC') markets, is aware of market speculation regarding a potential acquisition and confirms that it is in exclusive discussions to acquire Professional Group Conversia S.L.U..

At this time, there can be no certainty that any agreement will be reached, however, if agreed, it is expected to constitute a Significant Transaction for the purposes of the UK Listing Rules.
