Standard Chartered PLC confirms that regulatory approval has been received for Phil Rivett's appointment as Chair of the Board Risk Committee

Following its announcement on 8 May 2025, Standard Chartered PLC confirms that regulatory approval has been received today from the PRA with consent from the FCA for Phil Rivett's appointment as Chair of the Board Risk Committee effective from 1 August 2025.  He has assumed the role on an interim basis since 8 May 2025. 

Phil will remain Chair of the Audit Committee ahead of Jackie Hunt receiving regulatory approval to hold that role.
