B&B TOOLS acquires industrial reseller in Norway

TOOLS AS (part of the B&B TOOLS Group) has today entered into an agreement to acquire all shares in Tønsberg Maskinforretning AS ("TM"). The acquisition is part of the Group's efforts to strengthen the position of the TOOLS chain in the Norwegian market.

TM is a reseller of industrial components and consumables to the industrial and construction sectors in southern Norway. TM generates annual revenue of approximately MNOK 20 and has 10 employees. TM is already a member of the TOOLS chain.

"Tønsberg Maskinforretning is a well-established company with a high level of expertise and a competitive offering of components and consumables in an attractive market close to the Oslo region," says Ulf Lilius, President & CEO of B&B TOOLS. "Through the acquisition, we are now further strengthening our position in this market."

Closing is scheduled for 4 April 2016. The acquisition is expected to have a marginally positive effect on B&B TOOLS' earnings per share.
