Hufvudstaden has the pleasure of welcoming the Italian company Eataly to Sweden. The concept includes restaurants, bars, cafeterias, food and beverage sales and houseware, and will cover approximately 3,000 square metres of floor space on Biblioteksgatan in Stockholm. The official opening is scheduled for autumn 2017.
The establishment of Eataly is entirely in line with the Hufvudstaden strategy of reinforcing and developing Bibliotekstan, with attractive meeting points and the very best Swedish and international brands.
"Our aim is to offer successful store and office tenants the finest business locations in central Stockholm and central Gothenburg. We are therefore extremely pleased that Eataly has opted to establish operations in a Hufvudstaden property in Bibliotekstan," says Ivo Stopner, President, Hufvudstaden.
The first Eataly was opened in 2007 in Turin and what is perhaps the brand's most well-known store was opened in Manhattan in New York in 2010. Eataly now runs operations worldwide in cities such as Tokyo, Istanbul, Chicago and São Paulo.
