Odin Viking SPV AS, som utgör ett helägt dotterbolag till Kistefos AS vilket i sin tur kontrolleras av Christen Sveaas, har, till följ av att Viking Supply Ships AB genomfört en riktad kvittningsemission av 14 794 400 aktier till Odin Viking SPV AS, från den 23 december 2016 ett direkt aktieinnehav i Viking Supply Ships AB som överstiger 5% av det totala antalet aktier i bolaget. Samtidigt som kvittningsemissionen till Odin Viking SPV AS har Viking Supply Ships AB även genomfört en kvittningsemission till Viking Invest AS, huvudägare i Viking Supply Ships AB och även det ett helägt dotterbolag till Kistefos AS och således kontrollerat av Christen Sveaas. De två kvittningsemissionerna till Odin Viking SPV AS respektive Viking Invest AS medför dock inte att Viking Invest AS direkta, eller Kistefos AS eller Christen Sveaas indirekta, innehav i Viking Supply Ships AB passerar någon flaggningsgrundande gräns.
