After 17 years of service, Bertil Persson has decided to step down as President and CEO of Beijer Alma. The process to recruit a successor is now under way. Bertil Persson will remain in his role throughout the recruitment period.
Bertil Persson took over as CEO in 2000. Since then, Beijer Alma has delivered a strong performance in terms of both revenues and earnings. The Group conducts sales in 60 markets and generated revenues of SEK 3.5 billion in 2015.
"After 17 years, I feel it is time for a change and a new phase in life," says Bertil Persson. "Over the years, I've had the pleasure of being involved in developing Beijer Alma into a global Group and seeing our sales and earnings grow many times over."

The process to recruit a successor is now under way. Bertil Persson will remain in his role until the new CEO takes over.
