Serneke acquires land from Platzer at Säve

In early May, Serneke and Platzer signed a letter of intent regarding a major land acquisition at Säve Flygplats. The contract has now been signed. Serneke Property Management is acquiring Platzer's 100-hectare property at Säve Depå for an underlying property value of approximately SEK 100 million.

The relevant area at Säve, which covers about one million square meters, is directly adjacent to the property that Serneke acquired in May 2016. Serneke's total contiguous land holdings now comprise about three million square meters of developable land.

"We see great development opportunities for the property at Säve. With access to more land, we are creating even better conditions for developing businesses that benefit the city and the region," says Krister Johansson, President of Serneke Property Management.

"The area around Säve Flygplats and Säve Depå will best be developed under a single owner. Through the sale of Säve Depå to Serneke Property Management, the area gains a strong owner and we at Platzer can fully focus on developing our logistics properties at Arendal and Torslanda," says PG Persson, President of Platzer Fastigheter.

The property is being acquired through the corporate acquisition of AB Platzer Åseby 7:2. Serneke will gain control of the property on September 1, 2017.
