S&P GLOBAL RATINGS MIGLIORA IL MERITO DI CREDITO DI BANCA POPOLARE DI SONDRIO
IL RATING EMITTENTE A LUNGO TERMINE DELLA BANCA SI COLLOCA AL LIVELLO "BBB" CON OUTLOOK STABILE
Banca Popolare di Sondrio ("BP Sondrio" o la "Banca") informa che, in data odierna, l'agenzia S&P Global Ratings ha migliorato la valutazione del merito di credito della Banca. In particolare, il rating emittente a lungo termine è stato alzato al livello investment grade "BBB" dal precedente giudizio investment grade "BBB-". L'outlook è stato rivisto a stabile da positivo.
Il miglioramento del giudizio riflette il futuro ingresso di BP Sondrio nel gruppo BPER (il "Gruppo") in considerazione del raggiungimento da parte di quest'ultima di oltre il 50% del capitale sociale della Banca, avvenuto nella prima fase dell'offerta pubblica di acquisto e scambio volontaria promossa dal Gruppo, conclusasi l'11 luglio u.s.

S&P GLOBAL RATINGS UPGRADES THE CREDIT RATING OF BANCA POPOLARE DI SONDRIO
THE BANK'S LONG-TERM ISSUER RATING IS NOW "BBB" WITH A STABLE OUTLOOK
Banca Popolare di Sondrio ("BP Sondrio" or the "Bank") announces that, today, S&P Global Ratings has upgraded the Bank's credit rating. Specifically, the long-term issuer rating has been raised to investment grade "BBB" from the previous investment grade rating of "BBB-". The outlook has been revised from positive to stable.
The improvement in the rating reflects BP Sondrio's future entry into the BPER group (the "Group") in view of the latter's acquisition of more than 50% of the Bank's share capital in the first phase of the voluntary public offer for the purchase and exchange of shares launched by the Group, which was completed on 11 July 2025.
