Mekonomen announces new date for Q1 reporting 2020

Mekonomen will publish the report for the first quarter 2020 on May 29 instead of May 7 2020, as communicated earlier. The new reporting date is a result of delays in reporting the quarter end figures as a result of the previously communicated data breach in the business area MECA/Mekonomen.

As of Wednesesday April 15 2020, the majority of the business area MECA/Mekonomen´s critical customer and sales systems are fully restored and functioning with minor disturbances. The remaining critical external systems are expected to be up and running during week 16. In parallel with the company's operational activities thereby returning to normal operating conditions, the work continues to restore non-business-critical support systems and to implement further preventive measures against data breaches.

Intensive efforts have been made to secure and recreate MECA/Mekonomen's systems since the data breach was discovered on March 28, 2020. The company has prioritized its customer and sales-critical systems to minimize negative impact for the customers and the operations.

Mekonomen publishes the report for the first quarter 2020 on May 29 2020 at 07.30 a.m. CET.
